Curve Balls in Life

Life has a way of throwing you curve balls when you least expect them. Some are great curve balls, and well some hit you so hard they almost knock the wind out of your sails.

This year so far has been full of both kinds for me. God has brought some pretty great people into my life that have taught me things about myself, desires, needs, strengths, and the list goes on. These people. They're good curve balls.

The not so great curve balls, well they're a little harder to handle. You feel defeated, frustrated, and sometimes you feel like these curve balls are a reflection of something bad in yourself because why would this happen to you if there wasn't something wrong with you. Fact is: We All Get bad curve balls once in a while.

The only way to handle both the good and the bad? Trust God. Trust that he has your best interest in store, trust that he wants you to use your strengths as much as you want people to recognize your strengths. Why? Because when we use our strengths, our best comes out, we can be who we were made to be, we can be successful, and with that comes appreciation, happiness, worth, and purpose. As much as the bad curve balls hurt, don't let it bring you down. Accept it, maybe make some changes to accommodate for it, but overall keep moving. Cause you can't hit a curve ball standing still.
