Family

I love seeing my great aunts and uncles, and my second cousins. It makes me happy. Family is so important and so often we do not even make an effort to see those we love.

This morning auntie marie and I met Grandma and her siblings at a restaurant for brunch. It was so nice to see them all interact. They are the biggest gong show... but as one of my aunts said: " Look at your genetics sweetheart, you're related to this gong show." And to that I say Thank-you Lord. Thank-you that I was brought into such a wonderful family. Hey we may all have our quirks, we may be the loudest bunch in the place, and we may cause a scene once in a while, but what fun would life be if none of these things were true.

All I can say is: I love my family, and wouldn't trade them for the world. And boy do I wish that I could have a million and one more years to spend with them. Because they are wonderful!!! I want to sit down and pick their brains on family history. Listen to their stories about life, love, and Faith. I want to learn from them, Soak it up. I cherish every moment I get to spend with them. Because they are moments that will one day be the only memories I have. The only piece of them I still will be able to hold on to.
