On Saturday, Sept 13, 2008, I had to say goodbye to my dear cousin Ashley. But he was a wonderful man. Words cannot express the true joy that he brought into a room. He was a man full of confidence, honor, laughter, and truth. My mom refers to Ashley and I as two peas in a pod, for when we got together, no one could stop us from laughing, and we would carry on talking in funny accents, or quoting stupid lines in movies, or even just laughing over something as stupid as an imaginary gate in the middle of the yard, with no fence. We didn't need the subject to be funny, we just had to make it funny. I will miss those special times. But I know that Ashley died doing something he loved.
I Love you big guy, We'll miss you tons.
