The family, Sitting at auntie Jeannette's table, telling stories!
I spent this past weekend in Saskatchewan with a lot of my family. There are different things about all of them that make them so special to me. Different things, that make them each unique. My Uncle Luc, I can bug that man so much, and he still smiles every time he sees me. My uncle Ben, I love the way he teases. He's got a wonderful sense of humour, and he's a very wise man. My Auntie Rose, She's the sweetest thing, I ever did know. She's got a heart of gold, and the sweetest giggle ever. My auntie Bonnie, She is funny, a cuddle bug, and very caring, never laughed so much in my life as when I'm with her.
My auntie Jeannette, she's the funniest and strongest lady I know, I love her sarcasm, and wit, and even when Life is bringing her down, she's able to put a smile on her face, and focus on the positive. My Uncle Grant, he is one of the best husband's I've ever met, he'd do anything for my auntie Jeannette, and for that he is a good man. My auntie Laurette, she's such a sweetie, and I wish I could see much more of her. My auntie Alice, She's wonderful, a beautiful, strong woman who's laughter and kind heart brings light to anyone's face. My auntie Ruth, She's a very strong woman, someone who can look after her quadriplegic son, and still manage to have enough love to spread around. My Uncle Ray, I love his laugh, his blunt way of saying things, and his ability to make conversation when we don't have much to talk about.
These are just a few, and I could name so many more, but not this time. Being in Saskatchewan, spending time with these wonderful people, makes me realize what life is truly about, and that is love, wisdom, and joy. Even when life is so sad, we can smile, and have a good time, because we love each other and we are with those who mean the most to us. I love that we can shed tears together, laugh, or even just sit quiet. It's those times, when we can know that we are loved, see that there is love, and hear the sound of love. For love is nothing without someone to share it with.

Auntie Alice's heartwarming Smile & Auntie Bonnie's infectious Laughter
I want my legacy to be one of love, I want to touch the world, touch the hearts of those, who's lives are in trial. To be a stronghold for them, to help them when they feel like their is nothing more in life that they can do. I want to know that I have created a legacy of love, laughter, and life. And even if the only people I ever reach is my family, I have passed that love onto a new generation, I have given them the ability to be with people, to coexist in a world, where negativity, and violence have overtaken our society, I have given them the greatest gift. The gift from up above, the gift of love, and they will pass it on to their families.
