Wow, I can't believe it is already the 22nd of June. It's been a very crazy month. I had a wedding in Edmonton the first weekend in which I was a bridesmaid. And then a wedding in Calgary the next weekend in which I was an MC alongside my friend Jamie. It was such a blessing to be a part of friends' weddings. It really is a special thing. You get to spend their whole day with them, from getting your hair done, to calming nerves, to trying to figure out last minute details. It's just so special to be a part of their lives on one of the most important days of their lives.
A lot of my friends are getting married and I love it when you go to their wedding and you know with every part of you that they have found their prince or princess. I remember one of my friends and I used to always talk about what we wanted in a man and what our wedding would be like, and I got to spend her wedding day with her as her bridesmaid and I remember thinking about all the things we used to talk about. Thinking about all the qualities she wanted in a man and God blessed her with a man who had all those traits.
I have several other weddings to go to this summer and I am looking forward to sharing those days with my friends and seeing them take that wonderful step of marriage, and I hope that their marriages are til death do we part. For marriage is a beautiful thing that God intended for a woman and a man to share for life. That God intended to be forever, not something that can be easily reversed or gotten out of. And I pray that my friends have long, love filled, laughter filled marriages.
