Destitution

When you truly look at life, when you become increasingly aware of the world around you, the people, your situations, one can't help but have an overwhelming sense that all of this has a purpose.

When you see the tragedy we as humans go through, how can we not believe that there must be a reason behind it all. In this moment of my life when I look at the people in it, my relationships, my job, I'm overwhelmed. Not overwhelmed as in not coping but an overwhelming sense of what my job on this earth is. I think so often we feel like we need to leave our current situations in order to truly make a difference in this world, but the truth is, there are people right here that are destitute, maybe not for material things, but destitute in what matters the most and that my friends, is love.

I think Mother Theresa says is best in this simple quote featured in the picture. May we strive to live a life that helps those in destitute need of love.
